No, sadly, wizard golf isn’t an actual thing in game. It’s simply the only words I can find to describe the latest equipment I’m trying out for my wizard. Maybe you guys can think of a more suitable description? If we’re trying to keep things with a Diablo 3 feel then maybe it’s best to refer to this wizard as a battle mage or something like that.
Although it will surely not be optimal equipment when the game launches, I really like that Blizzard have let us choose to equip characters with a wide range of weapons and even incorporated these into the animation of characters that are less likely to choose these load outs.
Just as I was writing this, some extra news landed in my lap, hot from my sources. You can now check out Diablo III Presale Information on battle.net. I recommend getting up to speed on the details if you’re planning on making sure you skip possible stock shortages on May 15th!
It bodes well for a game we intend to play for a loooong time that you can see awesome gameplay that’s screen shot worthy, every time you play. It’s what keeps me coming back to the beta. That and my work on preparing real money auction house strategies ( for the game’s launch now we have the Diablo 3 Release Date Confirmed! I’m still sooo excited. That announcement and the amount of caffeine I’ve taken in today could mean some Diablo 3 insomnia later! I’ll take it like a man with a big goofy smile!
