The Diablo 3 RMAH is running in the Americas sans commodities (including gold) but other regions may have to wait some time to get access. Currently the EU GAH gives you the following message when you try to switch currencies:
This indicates that we’re going to see the RMAH activated tomorrow (I hope you’ve all been reading up and preparing perhaps checking out information such as Predicted Prices for the RMAH) which will be accompanied by a lot of excitement amongst EU traders – and confusion, disappointment and anger amongst those who don’t quite follow the erratic markets within the auction houses (I recommend joining the guild for all your RMAH guide needs).
There is the possibility that there will be further delays however. It’s also likely that the Asian RMAH will not activate at the same time as the European RMAH:
As you may have read on the North American Diablo® III site, the real-money auction house has launched in the Americas game region, and our goal is to launch the real-money auction house for the Europe game region in the very near future. (The estimated target date will be updated in the game client with the next maintenance.) We are rolling out each region’s real-money auction house separately to ensure our players have the best possible experience.
We appreciate your patience as we take a measured approach with this deployment, and we’ll provide another update as soon as we have more information to share.
The 15th June predicted date has been up in the client since before Bashiok made this post. Like any community manager, he is keen to be vague (so no one can say “You said X Bashiok and then Y!?”) but perhaps, in this case, it indicates an internal decision to delay the European real money auction house further. Perhaps they want further time to resolve niggling issues (like the errors I talked about earlier in the week). Only time will tell!
